CALIFORNIA FOOTBALL OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION-SOUTH BAY
The California Football Officials Association-SB provides certified football officials for football in the South Bay and the west side of Los Angeles. We currently provide high-level training and certification for those looking to officiate CIF high school football and girls flag football. We provide a solid foundation for those looking to move on to the NCAA or the NFL.

Message from the President
On behalf of the CFOA Board of Directors, I would like to welcome both our returning veterans and our new officials to the CFOA South Bay Officials Unit for the 2026 season.

Our association continues to grow and evolve, with the ongoing success of championship Flag Football, updated mechanics for both tackle and flag, and expanded offseason training resources. These developments reflect our commitment to keeping our officials prepared, confident, and ready to meet the demands of today’s high school game.

Our mission remains the same: to provide high-level instruction, consistent mechanics, and a professional environment for every official in our unit. We take pride in working alongside student-athletes, coaches, and administrators, and we strive to represent the South Bay with integrity, professionalism, and respect on every field.

The past season was another strong one for our unit. We were entrusted with CIF championship assignments and regional state contests, and our officials performed at a high level. These opportunities are a direct result of the dedication of our instructional staff, the support of our assignor, and the hard work and commitment shown by every member of this unit.

Thank you for your continued effort, professionalism, and passion for the game. I look forward to another successful season together.
